Hi,

I have an IG-88 on a ESB 32 back. Photos below. Can anyone give me a valuation?
Also, was wondering what does the 'K' stand for on the underside of the card he is standing on? Does that affect the value (i.e. make him super rare!)

Cheers,

Oli

That is a lovely MOC. He's a cool character and great looking card as it is, but the clear bubble makes it even better.

I have no idea of value as I don't know anything about Kenner.

The "K" is the mark of Kader Industries. It was one of the three Far East factories that manufactured the figures. On occasion you'll find footers marked with the factory letter. I have no idea what the purpose of this was: why mark some and not others? And although there are fewer with factory letters they're not really worth any more.

If you're looking to sell I may be interested.

Considering an ESB Bounty Hunter run to go with my Jedi one.

Hi,

Thanks for all the replies. Ok, in that case he is for sale, the price is - £120 plus shipping (UK is about £8 for tracked delivery).
Also, he comes in a perspex case (which cost me £12).

If you are in central London then I can bring him over during my lunch hour.

Cheers,

Oli

Hi,

Got a bit of an issue. It turns out there is a small hole in the bubble that I did not notice. You can see it in the fourth and sixth photos in the original post.

Can someone let me know how this will effect the value? I'd like to give partial refund to the buyer based on a revised valuation. I sold it for £120 + postage.

Thanks,

Oli

Hi all- I'm the buyer of the IG 88 moc- Oli has kindly greed to get it reevaluated in light of the small hole in the bubble neither of us noticed before the sale.

It looks like it may be a factory flaw or drilled to stop the bubble going yellow? Does it impact in the value at all?

Any advice will be much appreciated- the original sale included a nice acrylic case in the £120 price :)

Cheers,

Mark

Drilled a hole to stop the bubble going yellow :?: New one to me :!:
I am afraid it will impact on the value a bit as many collectors prefer hole/crack free bubbles.
