8D8, COO reference guide:

8d8.jpg

This guide is made in honor for our great 8D8 and Tri-logo collector Joe from the forum, without you the forum would not be the same :D

If anyone has any other variants to add, please feel free to update the reference guide. All help appreciated.

8D8 can be found on Return of the Jedi and Tri-logo cards.

For many years I thought there was only one variant of 8D8. But to my big surprise I learned there was many other 8D8 variants. Let us find them all together :D

No COO: As with any, no COO on the back.

No COO figures:

I currently have two figures to document. One has the circle on the right leg. The other has a circle on the left leg.

Two different LFL markings. Figure with the circle on the right leg( Shown on top) has much straighter markings compared to the figure with circle on the left leg. The 83 is noticeably more crooked.

Lili Ledy 8D8 with a total different NO COO. I would say so far that this is a unique No COO, because I have never found it on figures that was not Lili Ledy.

The Lili Ledy 8D8 figure is on the next pictures compared to another No COO figure. The Lili Ledy is to the left and the other NO COO is to the right.

The Lili Ledy 8D8 has a hard torso and more detailled, I think it is because of the hard plastic that you can see the details much better.
Darker Yellow Eyes, Darker Brown parts on the torso. I am also sure that you can 3 more variants of the Lili Ledy 8D8. With Circles on both legs, only left leg, only right leg and no circles on the legs. I hope to find some of them in the future.

Super thread, Lars. Nice to see a figure with such a sculpt difference (circles on the legs). Will have to keep an eye out for the variants.

This figure has a different no coo, I call it a Tri-logo because I found it in a childhood lot with a tri-logo cardback. It has no circles
on the legs.

This figure has a same no coo as figure 6, but this one has a circle on the right leg. I also call this a Tri-logo because it has the same no coo as no 6.
