Jabba the Hutt Dungeon Playset:

Prompted by a suggestion from Lars aka ' Pomse2001' that some guides in relation to the Vintage playsets might be useful, I have put a little reference guide together for the Dungeon Playset I picked up...
Plenty of interesting parts and baggies. One funny aspect is that there are three different dates throughout the set ranging from 1983-1985. Discussed further below.

The set came with three baggies, Amanaman, EV9-D9 and Barada which are highlighted in detail in the guide.

First up, here is the box. Came with LFL 1984 date.

Playset base:

The playset came with a Grey plastic base. There is no COO on this base, however, there are a few markings on the bottom.

Sticker Sheet:

Really nice example of the Unused sticker sheet that came with the playset. Dated LFL 1983 as opposed to LFL 1984 on the box.

Return of the Jedi Booklet:

The playset also includes a Return of the Jedi toy catalogue. Featuring Jabba the Hutt on the cover of course!

Hopefully this is a little help concerning the different contents. If anyone else has complete playsets to document that would be great. I will added a Playset/ Boxed items section to the Vintage Reference Guide Index now :D

Wish I had had the forethought to do the same.
Mine is in the process of being graded so will be sealed away in perspex. I will see if I can get all of the relevant dates when it comes back so we can compare.

A friend asked me if I would buy his Jabba Dungeon playset for a good price. I told him yes because I needed instruction for my own playset so it could be complete :D

As always I look after variations and to my big surprise I learned the playsets have different production stamps and also to my big surprise one was stamped with a date month and a year.

Could be cool to see if any of you have playsets with other production dates. Maybe we can learn when they started to produce them and when they stopped to produce the playset.

This is the playset with a production no. that I do not know what means :?

But the other playset have a production date  September 4 1984 8)

So guys it could be cool if you will find some time to take a picture of your playset so we can see when it was made :D
