Gamorrean Guard, COO reference guide:
IMG_20150214_153013.jpg

So, decided on a new figure for the next little reference guide. Plummed for a ROTJ figure. One of my personal favourites now as a collector and as a kid. Fond memories as this was one of my first figures :D

As always, if anyone has any other variants to add, please feel free to update the reference guide. All help appreciated.

Special mention and 'Thanks' once again to Frank aka Frunkstar for his expertise and help with the addition to the guide of his super photos of GG baggies....

Thanks to Wolffs guide again for all his previous hard work. Please check out his excellent site, 'Variant Villain'.

First appearing on the ROTJ 65 back card..

The number of different COO variants and Colours/Sculpt mixes make this a great figure for a guide.

Hong Kong COO:
Comes with full Hong Kong COO, Discussed on page 3

H.K COO:
Comes with abbreviated 'H.K' marking, Update page 2

Macau:
Macau leg markings, Discussed on page 1, UPDATE: Variant added on Page 4

No COO:
As with any, no COO on the legs, Update with variants on page 4

Lili Ledy:
No COO, LFL ovelaps tunic...Figure added on Page 5

Ok Jeff that was one of the big ones you are starting a guide on. There is a lot of coo for that figure. So far I have found 17

Do you want any help :D

Armour variants:

The Gamorrean Guard figures come with a number of different colours on the body armour. The two figures today are good examples of this. Macau COO on the left, H.K COO on the right.

H.K COO variants update:

I currently have two H.K COO variants. Here's the latest figure...

The new figure I picked up today has darker green skin as can be seen in the close up COO shot below, New figure on the right. (More discussion on the COO markings below)

Another difference is that the tunic legs are a darker brown colour...

Back to back:
This picture highlights the difference between the two figures Armour paint applications.

Tunic bottom colour:
This picture clearly shows the difference between the two figures tunic bottoms. Newest figure has much darker Brown pants. Previous figure has more 'Chocolate' colour bottoms.

Some more great updates jeff

Thanks Lars, appreciate your feedback. I will post some comparison H.K shots later.

I have a few variants on the way, hopefully this will be a fairly good guide :D It's a figure I always really liked...

If there is anything you want to add, work away.

Thanks, I will begin to add when I have done my first figure. Can't wait to see the pictures you mailed me when I get home :D
