Mr Kenobi? OK then Lars, here's mine. First up, another reseal:

Ewan Guinness - 01.jpg

And my loose. Don't get too excited about the double-telescoping saber, it's a Revalveit. I despise repro weapons in the main, but since I will never own a genuine set of double-telescoping sabers, it's the one and only exception I make in my own collection. My apologies to anyone offended by the photo below. Anyway, the other three Bens are a white hair, a dark grey hair, and a light grey hair (all with genuine sabers, and each having a different tip thickness ;-)):

Alec McGregor - 02.jpg

Yes Mr. Kenobi  Beautiful reseal that you have, love this palitoy cardbacks

Also a great collection of variants that you have. I also have a kenobi repro dt saber that I bought many years ago because I thought I would never get the original saber. A few years later I got the chance to buy one for £1000, I think it was in 2005 but I was stupid enough not to buy it because I thought it was a lot of money and I would maybe get the chance again to buy one cheaper  But a few years ago I removed it from my collection because I only wanted original star wars in my collection. I still have the saber, because I can't find out what to do with it   Do you have problems with the spread legs kenobi to stand on the stand ? I have some problems with some of mine :(

Thanks, Lars. Sorry to hear that you passed on the opportunity to own a genuine DT Ben! We all have our own nightmare tales of passing on items we later regret not buying, but I hope you still manage to get a real one some day :)

Regarding spread legs Kenobis, I don't have any as I don't like them. Rightly or wrongly, I don't regard them as true variants, but rather moulding / assembly defects. I don't like the way they look (clearly they aren't how Kenner intended the figure to be), and you are absolutely correct about the difficulty in getting them to stand up straight. They usually lean drunkenly over to one side or the other!

Yes it is sad with that ben saber, I remember seller had a ben and a vader saber and he wanted £1000 for them each, in 2005 I thought it was crazy  I agree we all have our nightmares

I am not sure about why some legs are spread, so I can't confirm it is moulding / assembly defects :? But I have noticed on some moc that I have that figures in small bubbles do not have spread legs and some figures in very wide bubbles have very spread legs :? But maybe you are correct that it is moulding / assembly defects :?

I'll second that. Very nice!

Thanks guys. It's another one I resealed myself and it came out as well as I could have hoped. Luckily the person that originally opened it had done so very carefully, which always makes resealing them so much easier! :)

Thanks for comment on the reseal.

I love your selection! And I assume that unlike my effort, your DT Ben is the genuine article? If so, many congratulations on such a terrific piece! It's in fabulous condition :)

It's not one of my favourite figures I'm afraid.
So it's never been a figure that I have to have, but one will be added eventually I suspect.

I'm pretty sure this was the first SW figure I ever received and even though as a 7 year old I would have liked Luke or Darth (or probably another of several  ), I have since always liked this figure and his card art. I'll try to post up something if I get the chance.

Great job on the reseal Jeremy. How do you go about resealing yours with such aplomb?

Thanks Jay, and that's a beautiful 21-back and loose Ben of yours too :)

As for my own reseals, I genuinely was helped by the fact that the bubble had been opened with care and then both card and bubble well looked after through the years. However, it was also necessary to take my time and ensure that the bubble still lined up nicely with the litho behind it. I also carefully stuck back down any pieces of lifting or loose litho first, before finally, and again of course carefully, sticking the bubble back in place.

I like the Ben figure, really don't think he gets the credit he deserves. Aside from the DT version, id say he gets less mention than any of the first 12 figures.

Plus any excuse to show this :D

Now that is special.
I can see why they put him on that card back in the day.
I've seen many miss cards over the years, can't recall that pairing.
