Bubble Question...

I've not had a lot of spare cash recently but I've been doing quite a bit of window shopping. I watched the live stream of the Gildings toy auction. There were quite a few MOCs up for auction. There were a few Darth Vaders up for grabs, all had the same bubble. Can someone explain to me why the bubbles are so high? I'm thinking they are Trilogo bubbles but why are they placed above the Lucasfilm line and so high against the inner racetrack? Would the bubbles not have been put on by a machine and so all in the same, lower position?

Here's the item:

There was 3 chewbacca MOCs in the auction with the same bubble so you must be right. Thanks.

Plus I think Jason's card back guide said it was 65 back. Thank you.

Are you sure they are not Toy Toni MOC's? I saw this Chewy on eBay (advertised as a Toy Toni) with the same tall bubble and positioning...

They aren't Toy Tonis. They came from a recent ex-shop stock find I believe.

These bubbles are difficult to verify as Toni has definitely sold Chewies like this. As far as I am aware he did not have Vader cards so they should all be OK. The Chewbacca's are a matter of opinion unfortunately, as above there are definitely legit ones out there too.

Thanks Edd, I highlighted the Vader card as I saw on the matrix Toni didn't have Vader cards. I've heard that before about the Chewwies I think. Very interesting.

This was my favourite lot, the auctioneer was a bit perplexed!!!:

I can understand his disbelief, £140 is a lot for an empty box if your not into empty Star Wars shipping containers!

Half way through the auction he said "They do know it's empty don't they?"

Ah yes, sorry I didn't check the matrix.
