Snowspeeder Vintage harpoon & towcable Question

Hi Guy's

Hopefully someone will know the answer to this is the harpoon block from the vintage snow speeder the same mould as the 1996 POTF2 snow speeder.

The reason i ask is my brother bought a POTF 2 snow speeder complete and it has what appears to be the same block as my vintage speeder but also a black missile on the end of the string clearly this is modern but the block looks vintage.

Any one aware of this thanks

Back then, Hasbro routinely reused the original vintage toy moulds, so yes, I believe it will be the same mould. If it helps, Rebelscum have a terrific photo archive of most modern Hasbro Star Wars toys here:
