Hi Everyone
Sorry i have not been on here much of late i have just been very busy with the events i run.
I just want to give everyone a anther heads up about two fakes i saw at my event London Film and Comic Con last weekend
Ok i saw a trader that i know did not know they were fake its the W H Smith's clear multi loose figure baggy with the big round 8 figure offer for 99p label
The two i saw were to nice for a start, they had figures in the bags like Greedo and Walrusman which the dump bags never had as at that time these figurers were rare and not anyway to be found and the other figures were not in baggys and also the big white round label was wrong , its the label that gives it totally away , the original is not pure white more of a off white cream with age and then there is the black printing the fakes have shiny black ink and the originals are also matte
This is one i just pulled out of my boxes that was opened and i kept the bag at the time , i have sealed bags somewhere but as many of you know that will take me some time to find them but these serve the purpose for now and the seller also have real ones that i took photos of as will but here is the label of my original that i bough back at that time
These are the images of the traders real ones also
And these are the fakes
the main thing is the label and the gloss black print this is not right and these are total fakes
They have been changing hands at around £300 + so its a big thing
One last thing i here some have been graded so this may also yet again be a issues where the graders do not know what they are looking for ?
I am happy to look at anything that people feel i can help them with if you want to ask someone that was there at the time that has a decent memory of the time and the toys that were around then.
Hopefully not as many people will be damaged by this as with the Toy Toni's i exposed last time , but as before its better everyone knows and maybe we find out who is making them ?
Hope that helps the community
Jason
