The following posts are an analysis of my Palitoy/German MOCs in my 2-1b focus and my AFA 90 ESB/ROTJ Palitoy MOC Focus.

As suspected, I fear all of these are the handy work of Toy Toni.

Each card goes in a post along with a comparison used cardback if I have one.

I'll draw conclusions on each card, and then in an overall summary at the end.

I would appreciate if everyone could refrain from posting/commenting until I have finished, I have 80 odd
photos to post, and quite a lot of conclusions to draw.

Will invite comment when I have finished my summary.

cheers Jason

First up are my German 2-1B's.

This is a double pronged German 2-1B I bought from Cheshunt in 2006 and was the first 2-1B I bought
for my 2-1B focus.

Close up of the name plate, note that black dot printing flaw under the 1 of 2-1B.

Next up is a single stemmed German 2-1B bought from the man himself off toytoni.com in 2012.

P1090650_zpsfd4cf0cc.jpg

Close up of the name plate, same black dot printing flaw as the one I bought at Cheshunt.
This tells us that both these cards were likely to be in the same printing batch.

P1090652_zps09f738ee.jpg

Close up of the seal, signs of air bubbles under the seal, another sign of a Toni seal.

P1090653_zpsd35e3a93.jpg

Both of these German cards are with the 'Collect all 45' English text on the back as shown
on Wolfgang's guide:-

http://www.raumhafen.de/cgi-bin/showp.pl?pic=/galerie/starwars/sw/esb_45back_d&titel=German%20ESB%20Figures

I also have a 2-1B cardback, but that is without the text. Almost all used cardbacks are without text,
and almost all Toni's stock is with text. So if you have a MOC with the text and it is minty and not shop sold,
it is almost certainly from Toy Toni.

Warning bells ring when there are multiple bubble types for the same card/figure.

The used cardbacks for German figures are all double stemmed bubbles, so this single stemmed example
is using the wrong bubble. This is a common problem with most of Toni's cards.

Next up is a double stemmed Palitoy 45c that came directly from Toy Toni via toytoni.com in 2012.

P1090654_zps240cc2e2.jpg

Signs of a mishap sealing the card at the bottom of this one. Also note, that the seal is
attached between the two prongs, as it is with all of Tonis double pronged bubbles.

P1090656_zpsd0d50f8b.jpg

This is an original cardback, note the bubble was not sealed to the card between the two
prongs. This is the case that is seen on all shop sold used cardbacks with a double prong bubble.

Next up is an AFA 85 Palitoy 45c 2-1b with Tonis trademark super strong, super wide, super clear, rectangular
bubble. These are not seen on shop sold examples.

Serial number is 16794111. Grading date Jul 25, 2006.

Lots of bubble lifting on this one. Badly/weakly attached bubbles are another sign of Tonis work.

P1090660_zps0d784db1.jpg

The cardback for this is double pronged, so the rectangular bubble used here is the wrong bubble type.

Why settle for an AFA 85, when there are AFA 90s a plenty. It's all AFA 90s from this point
onwards. This is an AFA 90 45c Palitoy 2-1b.

Air pockets in the seal, and a single dot impression from some tool used to keep the bubble
in place, another sign of a Toni seal.

P1090664_zps7f3eb9d4.jpg

The top of the bubble and another dot impression in the same place as the bottom of the bubble.

P1090665_zps438e7d6f.jpg

Again, this is using the wrong bubble type compared to used cardbacks which were shop sold.

You can also get a 45CN version of this card which came out of the Asian Palitoy factory as detailed
on here.

http://www.freewebs.com/mrpalitoy/rotj45ccardback.htm

If you have the letters HN after the ROJ1 on the back of the card then you haven't been Tonied!

Next up is an AFA 90 45c Boba Fett. This was my pride and joy and cost me £550 back in the day.
Now looking like a very expensive mistake.

P1090666_zps1fd1def0.jpg

Serial number is 16045744. Grading Date Feb 09, 2006.

One of three different Boba Fett figure types categorised by AFA for this figure/card type.
Sure sign of figures being bought up to put onto cards. It was always wondered why later
trilogo versions of this figure can be found on this early cardback. Well now you know!

P1090667_zps958e7f6e.jpg

Bubble starting to peal off at the bottom of the card, a sign of a Toni seal.

P1090668_zps3c1af0fc.jpg

Some used cardbacks for this figure/cardback.

P1090617_zpscf30565a.jpg

Top left is a 45CG which came out of the Asian Palitoy factory. It has HG in small letters after
ROTJ1 on the back of the card as described here.

http://www.freewebs.com/mrpalitoy/rotj45ccardback.htm

If you have one of these then you haven't been Tonied.

Top right is a used cardback with iron marks bought from Toni's marsking ebay
account in 2007. Note the minimal bubble imprint compared to the shop sold
double stem examples shown bottom left and bottom right.

So shop sold examples had the double pronged bubble, so again, Toni is using the wrong
bubble type here with this super wide, super strong, super clear rectangular bubble.

This is a shop sold used cardback.

So again, Toni is using the wrong bubble type, it should be double stemmed and he's using a rectangular
bubble.

And what's this, a tell tale split in the bubble seen on many of Tonis cards. Some of the bubbles
Toni acquired were damaged, and I believe this is the tell tale damage. Makes no difference
to AFA though, who gave this bubble a 90 score, what's a split bubble amongst friends.

P1090677_zps1fa3666d.jpg

And this is the shop sold used cardback.

Wrong bubble Toni, should be double stemmed, not rectangular.

Nice try Toni, that's the right shape, but the wrong width in this case. The shop sold bubble was narrower
than the wider bubble used by Toni.

Check out those iron marks.

P1090706_zpsae67db4c.jpg

The bubble imprint is again, minimal when compared to the impressions left by double stemmed bubbles.
Double stemmed bubbles feature on shop sold used cardbacks for this figure, so Toni has used the
wrong bubble again.

Next up is an AFA 90 65c Leia Boussh. Exciting one this, it's not been seen on my palitoy cardback guide

sign of being a Toni seal.
