What order to start watching the movie series?

Which trilogy or order do you watch Star wars in for younger folks?

Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi

If it was first time watching then definitely 456 first.

Have also tried for myself watching 1-9 in that order, which was a different experience for sure

1-9 with R1 & Solo is great, but not for a first time viewing. Would always go with 4-6 for that.

Last month I finished episode 4, 5 and 6 with my 4 years old nephew. I really liked the movies and his fovorites are c-3po, vader, r2-d2 and luke

We have also seen a few episodes of rebellion.

I think the next movies will be the 2 ewoks movies that we will watch before episode 1,2 and 3

I'd definitely start with 4, 5 and 6, then move on to 1-3, then Rogue One (and Solo, if you must), then The Mandalorian, TBOBF and Andor. Canonical episodes 7-9 don't exist for me, and the less said about 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' the better
