Fantastic podcast. I enjoyed all of it. I’d like to echo other people’s comments about Grant leaving. It’s a sad loss indeed. I hope that he meant what he said about staying close by the collecting community. I don’t have anything to add about the ‘Death Star catalogue’ that hasn’t been said already. It was an honour to contribute a little, with some information about the model kits. I’ve researched pretty much everything about them and I’m always willing to chat, provide information, etc. I really liked the section about the Star Wars board games. I managed to find the SWCA blog but I’m not sure that Ron got it 100% correct. According to my knowledge, Parker designed the Escape the Death Star Game and it was simply branded “Kenner.” Examples of the game in Parker packaging are fairly common. This was also the case with the Destroy the Death Star game (my one is branded Parker) and probably all of the other board games too. General Mills called upon its different appendages to produce the Star Wars line, such as the DIE Cast range, which was produced by Fundimensions but branded Kenner. Looking forward to the next episode!
