Just been to see it. Underwhelmed TBH. A few bits I didn't like or didn't quite see the point in, in no real order, The comedy. It's a SW film, not a ****ing comedy. 1 or 2 jokes I can understand but there were too many and they started to bug me. It's not meant to be funny. Luke. The whole way he got on in the film and the way he died, just made him seem like a huffy teenager. It just didn't feel right to me. That master locksmith bit. As others have said it dragged out needlessly, also the guy they ended up with didn't have that rose thing, so do master locksmiths just grow on trees? Snoke. Zero character development or back history. He's the main badie and we learn as much about him as we did Darth Maul. I don't want his life history but A BIT of back story or info would be nice. Tho rereading this, I guess we never got much character development on the Emperor (in the OT, prequels don't count as SW). It still feels like a complete waste though. The rebels running out of petrol. Ehhh rite  The First Order just follow along behind and wait for them to run out of petrol? Ehhh you have lots of ships. How about you call some more in and box them in, that way you can just sit there and blow the **** out of them without a very boring chase? No, too sensible. Right, ok. No. Ohh ok. That makes sense  The Rebels escape plan. Ok, so you turn the tracker off, and escape. Someone turned the tracker off. I've just truned it back on...there they are." That's not an escape plan. Unless you're either ****ing dumb or 6 years old. The empire/first order, can track in lightspeed. How? When? Great explanation there Disney. Leia can float in space. **** off. That scene on its own ruined the film for me. That suicide run on the Star Destroyer. The idea was fine, though as someone else said (sorry CBA to scroll back, you kneo who you are!) why has no one done that before. The Yoda bit didn't bother me, i thought it was fine. Daisy being told her parents sold her from drink money or whatever it was, may or may not be true. She was told it by Kylo Ren who has a slight vested interest in trying to get her angry/pissed/vulnerable.
