Yeah I was going to mention heat lamp but thought best not to as I have never tried it and didn't want to give wrong info out. I reckon it's the heat as I did it to a graded MOC and their was condensation in the case after, so something had evaporated.

I used a desk lamp - you need to have the card in an acrylic case which stops the bubble getting damaged and spreads the heat. Just don't leave it on and forget about it

Get a regular lamp, you'll have to trust your own judgement on how close and hot you'll allow things to get. Angle the figure towards the heat. Cover up the card and areas of the bubble and figure you don't need exposing to the heat, under your supervision let the heat work its magic!

I did a 12 back earlier for the first time. It's not sunlight that evaporates the frosting, it is purely down to heat.

See before and after pics of severe frosting which took around 2 hours. Good luck!!

I did it using bright morning sunlight with couple of MOCs years ago. Kenner 12 back large head Han and a Palitoy 45b 4-LOM. Both were heavily frosted and it only took around 10mins :D
