Ok I'm new to this forum, but have been collecting vintage Star Wars for many years and have some great memories of great finds down the years. But I did get stitched up once badly many years ago. I found this shop not far from where I lived that had some vintage stuff. I bought all the stuff I wanted over a period of about 6 months and got friendly with the guy who ran the shop. He put me on to another bloke who apparently had some nice loose figures. I met him in a layby  and brought some nice figures Pop Up R2 and Luke Stormy. Then I said I'm looking for a VC Jawa and he said I have one. Cut a long story short he stitched me up with a fake one for £120 evan the blaster was repro  It took me about 6 months to realise it was fake so I went back to the shop. The shop had been taken over by a new guy who woulden't give me any info. He also had some vintage stuff which was overpriced and in poor condition. Every time I asked him about a figure he said 'that one is very rare' evan if it was a Prune Face  Anyway I cut my losses and never got done over again. Was wandering if anyone else has some good stories that might make me feel better
