I'm not going to pick anybody's stuff out over another 'cos i like it all. Love popping back onto here from time to time and seeing toy variations but being massively into SW comics, books and literature from the very time i bought the first novel before the UK got the film i really like...

    Next Vectis Auction?

Cheers mate. Well the first 2 Snowspeeders went for more than usual but the 3rd one didn't. The Slave 1 bubble wasn't bad at all mate, the sides and bottom were fine but the top was a little ceased but i was half tempted to have a bid on it myself when it stayed low. Regarding the Y-wing and...

    Next Vectis Auction?

You'd think the current lockdown and economic situation would have the sellers worrying about their items going cheaply but the reverse was true today. I don't think I've ever been so amazed at the prices of some of the items particularly the carded figs. I'm kinda glad i don't collect them...

    Vintage is my Alcohol

I agree with Snake, that is a tremendous post Bobby and puts things into perspective. I love how you equate collecting vintage to having a drink, well SW collecting has certainly kept me intoxicated over the years. A really good read that mate. Still can't forgive your lot for nicking Steve...

    R2D2 21 back

I love 21 backs and used to collect them. Nice piece mate but i can't be of much help regarding the diffetent colour blue variation. I have seen R2's the wrong way before as i guess it was one of the easiest figures to get wrong by the bubble press operater. Regards Paul

Feel good post in these troubled times

Cinemas are generally better designed economically and spacewise these days Phil, not to mention the better comfort. However, going to the pictures back in the day seemed like more of an event IMO.
