Awesome cards. For me as a designer involved with print it is also interesting to see that the japanese card print is lacking the "deep" black on the backcard, its rather a grayish blue / black. Okay, printer nerd talk, lol.

I thought it is a pretty smart move to incorporate stuff like the early AT ST design bei Johnston or the troop transport. Adds some of the "original" vintage feeling, I guess. So yes, thumbs up for that!!!

Definetly!!! Some are clearly "bulid" to store / put the stuff back into the box, but some ... like the Kenner "Land of Jawas" what pain in the *#++ (just wrestled with it the other day ).

Yes its kind of a weird insert, took me a while to understand how to put it all together. With the Probot pin sticking through the insert, so does the tin of the turret top ... That might be a reason why you havent seen them before - probably drove the kids mad, hehe.
