Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group M

At-At driver, Rebel commander and Sy Snootles. The driver won many battles with me and my at-at in the eighties, sy snootles was a cool figure and the commander just beats the rest as I had none of the rest as a child so had to pick one. :)

Boushh, Biker Scout and Nien Nunb. Nunb was one of my mailaway pick ups as a child, Boushh is just awesome and the biker scout just looks cool :)

Jawa, 9D9 and the Dignitary. Had none of these as a child, but picked them up in the nineties and loved the moving jaw on 9D9 and the colours on the dignitary. And the jawa is just cool :)

Han, CCP and the admiral for me. Han Bespin was acquired second hand in the eighties and I thought he was a great figure. Never had the CCP but I did like him and Admiral Ackbar was my Y-wing pilot and a great sculpt, so he takes my first spot :)

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group L

Damn this was a difficult group. I had to narrow it down to the four I had, and loved, as a child so Leia and Yak didn’t make the cut.
Bespin guard, At-At commander and B-wing pilot got the three spots, but it was difficult leaving Ree Yees out as he has an amazing sculpt :)

Dengar, Logray and Artoo. Had all three as a child and therefore they grab the nostalgia vote :)

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group I

Out of this bunch I only ever had R5 as a child, so he’s number 1 choice. Lando general and the A-wing pilot take the second and third spots- both figures I didn’t know existed until I picked them up in a collectors shop in Glasgow in be early 90’s. Difficult to leave Lando Skiff, Chirpa and the Imp...

Imperial gunner, Hoth Stormtrooper and Prune Face. Another group of figures I never had as a child, but Hoth Stormtrooper is a great figure, imperial gunner is also really cool and Prune face has soft goods :)

Luke, Wicket and IG88... never owned any of these from new as a child so have no nostalgic attachment to the figures, but I loved the Endor scenes, and IG88 is a great sculpt :)

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - 1st Round - Group E

ERG, Emperor and Blue Snaggletooth. ERG is another one of my favourites, Emperor was possibly my first mailaway figure and Blue Snaggletooth takes the third spot due to him being added to my collection despite thinking I’d never have him. :)

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

Thanks, that K2SO is really nice, I’ll keep an eye out for it. I’m not in the shop very often but next time I’m in I’ll check for K2SO if you want? They were selling for 2 for £1 last time I was in, so it’d be the postage that was the bigger cost, if they still have them :) Cheers that would be kin...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

K2SO is great, is that a full set? I’m actually not sure how many there were in the line. I picked up one of each design that the shop had, over two separate visits a few months apart, so I reckon they’ve grabbed a load of them from somewhere to sell on at a discount rate. They had disappeared from...
