Re: Latest Acquisitions

I haven't added a figure to my loose vintage collection for a long time. Here's a recently acquired Takara alternate sculpt C-3PO partnered up with my wind-up R2-D2. ... Two that I would love in my collection ... Me too, great variants. The Dangar MOC is so damn cool. Think restoring it will be fun...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

One thing I think is really important is to have other interests. I have three main hobbies, and alternating between them gives me a break and stops me from burning out on one. I often see people on Facebook who from their profiles seem to be so obsessed with Star Wars that no wonder they find it o...

Re: Farthest From, Vintage Star Wars Collector Toy Show, December 2018, Fordingbridge, Hampshire.

What do you guys think might the better place to stay - Ringwood or Fordingbridge itself? I'm looking forward to have a few beers with you guys, but don't want to be too dependent on taxis. It's not always easy to get a cab in the late hours. In April meet up was in Ringwood, but this time is MonCal...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 43, 2018, Part 1/2

Fantastic story and photo - those 'for no reason' presents are always the most memorable ones! That line art box looks in great condition. Thank you - bought the Sears box as MISB, but it's double taped (yellowing tape) ... so I'm not sure, if this is genuine or re-sealed. Until I have no proof of ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 43, 2018, Part 1/2

This is one of my all time favourite playsets (beneath the Ewok Village). I loved it as a kid, the playvalue was immeasurable. The Jabba playset is one of my earliest childhood Star Wars memories, when I visited my grandparents in Hamburg. When I arrive, the playset was already put on my bed ... jus...

Re: Show of your truly rare items

My rarest item is probably this transparency for the Han Hoth image on the back of the 41 cards, with 76% sizing information for the printers. Cost a lot more than that beautiful ATST transparency - that was an amazing steal! Yeah, but this one is even cooler as it's a colour transparency. Great it...
