Re: DT Ben and Vader sell for over $100,000

That’s very true. Fiona Bruce’s complete disdane for the screen used tie fighter helmet on antiques roadshow really hammers that point home. My issue with spending 100k on collectibles is that sort of money could be used for a much better cause. It’s the same issue, allbeit on a different scale, to ...

Re: i believe that R1 will be a future cult classic

Totally agree with the CG Tarkin but it’s something they could fix with future releases in a similar way to the episode I Yoda. I just hope they can do the same for Vader’s swagger  R1 is my favourite by miles of any of the films since return of the Jedi. Let’s hope they can strike gold twice ...

Re: Set loose from an AFA tomb

I don't collect any of that Toy Toni stuff so it doesn't affect me. I think the point he was making was just because something is graded, it doesn’t mean it’s going to be legit. AFA have made many mistakes not just with the Toy Toni scandal but also with other fakes, reseals etc I personally don’t ...

You need to state prices or move the thread to the trades section.

Re: Palitoy Bib Fortuna 65bk MOC

If someone paid nearly 700 quid for a bog standard Kenner bib fortuna then they need putting down. It's got to be one of the top 10 most common Mocs out there. I picked mine up just over a year ago, in C8 condition but with a bit of bubble yellowing for £40. I wasn't aware that the palitoy version w...

Re: Palitoy Bib Fortuna 65bk MOC

He's lovely, Kenner ones would normally sell for around 50 but I think you could get a little more for a palitoy

Re: MOC Vader, What one would you get and why?

The alternative image is a way better moc in my opinion so I wouldn't pick any of your suggestions. A Jedi card is nice but then you have to accept a bubble that looks like it needs a dialysis machine.

Re: Furthest From 2018 dates

Reception in the hall is poor but if you go outside I can get a couple of bars. Some of the usual dealers take PayPal but most sales are cash. There's an ATM on the high street though about 50m from the venue.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

That meccano Greedo isn't something you see everyday!

Stu if you got it direct from Stephan did it feature in one of his books? It certainly looks minty enough to be featured.

Thorsten Lafos posted it on his instagram feed a few days ago but I'd never seen them before then. By the sounds of it they've been known about for a long time but perhaps out of the public eye?

Re: Quickdraw Han and articulated Greedo

Thanks for the confirmation Joe. I've been following 9holygrailsinarow for sometime and never had any reason to believe they would post fakes. This was a bit out there though and I'd never seen or heard about it before. Edit: Good point about the blue harvest edd, certainly with prices as they are t...

Re: Quickdraw Han and articulated Greedo

Good points ladds. Yoda that's some keen eyes! But being a prototype you'd expect It to be hand made.

Mini99 that makes a lot more sense, Kenner we're really grasping at straws at the end of the line with the likes of the Mongo beefhead and that shit but this would have been great.

Quickdraw Han and articulated Greedo

I used to check the 9holygrailsinarow website regularly and now follow them on Instagram and have always been amazed at the stuff they showcase. Today they posted this on instagram and I'm a little bit sceptical: IMG_1919.PNG I've never heard of anything like this before and always thought Kenner we...
