Re: Blast from the past! Animatronic diorama display

Glad to see it is appreciated. . I remember it blowing me away when the seller posted it years back. I believe an ex palitoy employee was making some of the displays, particularly the dome topped displays some of you im sure would have seen. The guys name was AJ Farmer or something of I remember. We...

Re: Blast from the past! Animatronic diorama display

Two blasts from the past, welcome back Chris Wierd how the display is ROTJ but predominantly empire with a few Jedi dogs. Presumably hand an empire sticker until a few days before the rotj one You may well be right Andy. The scenes them selves in the diorama are empire scenes so that would probably...

Re: Blast from the past! Animatronic diorama display

The video was taken by the guy selling it at the time. It is/ was an animatronic diorama display made for promoting the jedi toy line. Most likely for a shop window. Probably the neatest shop display diorama that I have seen I think. There are others out there but I haven't seen any with this array ...

Re: ESB to RoTJ Transition Cards

Get in touch with Scott Bradley. Basically overstock esb figures re-marketed as jedi wave through the use of the sticker to cover the esb logo. The Canadian market was a bit behind the US and so these filled shelves nicely until genuine Canadian jedi carded figures were released. "Few are commo...

Re: Huge AFA graded production collection to be auctioned off later in the year

Be interested to see if the 3 packs are parted out or sold as a full set I think Jeff Jacob sold his set for $250K? I think the people that are in the market for a full set all at once is limited and makes more sense to sell them individually and might actually fetch a higher price!! The Japanese g...

Re: Jim Stevensons Health

Ah man, I'm really sorry to hear this. Jim was THE face at toy fairs. His stall was always second to none. The great thing is that you didn't even have to buy anything to appreciate Jims stall. You could just stop and stare as I often did. Haha. It was always immaculately laid out with some of the b...
