I've been a member on here for a couple of years now but haven't really posted in the LA thread before despite nearly completing a loose run with loads of help from guys on the forum.

So I thought I would post a couple of my favourite forum acquisitions

First up is a beauty of a grey palitoy xwing courtesy of Steve obi wan, excellently displayed on one of itfciain's amazing acrylic stands.....looks brill!

Then a group shot of my ships all displayed on Iain's excellent acrylic stands! Another xwing from eBay but the bwing i'm pretty sure I got from scruffylookingnh when I went to my first FF in December (I will definitely be going again), and the slave 1 I just got from rhyfelyser!

Finally my one of my favourite acquisitions so far, my Luke Stormie. The figure was basically free in a job lot, I found a true solid black blaster in the states, aussiejames and itfciain helped me to identify that it was legit (after having discounted several before then that were not right for one reason or another) and Iain then kindly took delivery stateside before sending on to me through his buddy and another forum member jackabina. Finally the helmet I got from roundster so a real forum team effort in putting this one together and I'm thrilled with it!

Sorry to go on but I just thought that these few acquisitions really highlighted the community spirit in this forum and I wanted to share!

So sticking to the loose first 12 run I got few more different coos - started off with Luke farmboy, adding China and 3line h k. And a nice olive /brown haired varient . Also landspeeder palitoy boxed ( only vehicle I'm getting due to lack of room)
Any ways keep the goodness coming lads !
Cheers

Pick up a bunch of loose figures and a mini rig this morning at a local toy fair and also picked up this oddball item:

Not too sure of date/age, certainly vintage. Slight split in the pack but essentially sealed.

Deeko released a range of party products in the U.K. in 1978, including tablecloths, napkins, plates, and cups. They don't come up often in sealed condition, nice find.

Seeing the last post reminded me of something I picked up at the end of last year. I managed to get these for my focus and was really please with them. I just need to figure out a good way to display them.

Nice pic ups lads. Adding to my first 12 loose figure run is a few eBay bargains.
First up a nice Leia organa Hong Kong coo with 2 Hong Kong coo R2 solid domes ( different shades of blue) and a C3po fixed limbs Hong Kong .
Then a small job lot of eBay again with a nice no coo Leia organa , loose Ben kenobi and R2 solid Dome .
Through in a few more Ben kenobi s and Vader from Facebook group and different coo s are soon getting ticked off !
Cheers,Ricky

Coomber75 - Phil mate, i've always loved a good blaster by my side, nice.
Droopy - Cracking looking Luke Stormtrooper and ships mate. I love the 2 x X-Wings comparison next to each other. The B-Wing and the Slave One look great next to them.
Shaky - Great looking Palitoy Landspeeder and run or LFBs, very nice mate
Savory100 - Stephen, nice Deeko napkin set dude, very cool gimcrack.

Plastikheld - I've always loved transparencies and slides like yours, very cool. Thanks for the AT ST pictures.
Leon355 - Awesome run of Admiral slides, very cool.
Hooch - congrats on ticking off a couple more Ewok items mate. Good for you dude.
Shaky - Great work with the first 12 figures. I love the R2s but the Leia looks mint. Well done.
