During my goal to get the first 12 carded run that I completed recently, I also stumbled upon a few 21 backs I couldn't resist. Since then, I've been on the lookout for reasonably priced 21 backs and over the course of the last few months, finished the next 8. While I'd love to have a Boba Fett 21 back, I'm a realist and know that his price is way out of my league, so don't plan on getting him unless I win the lottery. Plus he wasn't in the original Star Wars (I don't count the Special Edition) so that helps with my reasoning. :)

Anyway, the last figure I needed was Luke X-Wing. Fortunately, there is a store that just opened up near me and low and behold, they had a very nice one. I went in and traded in several items to help offset the cost. Just like my first 12, some of these are far from mint (bubble damage, one pop cut, etc) they still look great in their GW Acrylic cases and I couldn't be happier. Very stoked to have the first 20 now on Star Wars cardbacks!

Wow - congrats :) I am also trying to put together a First 12 carded run. Last week secured Leia - taking me to five (two are 20 backs, but I just want the first 12 on Star Wars cards and 20s tend to be a lot cheaper than 12s!) so still some way to go!

I finally popped my Farthest From cherry this weekend. Had an amazing time, it was great to catch up with friends and make some new.
Picked up a few great items (which I'll get round to adding when I'be unpacked them) but this item is by far my favourite!
I won it in the charity auction and although it's a pretty cool piece anyway, it is extra special to me as it has a Pop Up R2 on it so is a great addition to my Pop Up focus. I absolutely love it, can't believe how happy I am to add an old cardboard drinks cup to my collection!

Another great FF.

Picked up some nice pieces. Seem to have mailer focus starting. I have no idea about Toltoys mailers. Also, does anyone know when the Clipper Vader came out? I'm guessing ROTJ.

Great pick ups everybody!

I had a Star Wars fuelled weekend - some collecting friend came for dinner on Saturday night, pre FF, so lots of good SW chat.

That evening this mailer was delivered to me by Marc:

A palitoy Emperor mailer, not overstock but actually mailed to a kid in Portsmouth.

Then at FF I bought an Admiral Ackbar mailer, again posted out.

BUT.... when I got home after the long drive I almost had a heart attack when I realised THEY WERE BOTH MAILED TO THE SAME ADDRESS!

Love the Playdoh Steve, I was trying to bid on a set just like that yesterday but some little toerag getting bidding as well. No idea who the jerk was though. Shame we both didn't have one to post here same day.

What were contents like? Why I pulled out the bidding as didn't know how much was missing etc

Great pick ups though pal

Yeah, I hear he's a right billy big time bidding for fun!
To be fair, there's a couple of missing bits; the playmat and the knives... I just loved the box art!

Damn you all. I mixed up my tabs and thought I was looking at a for sale page and saw lots of fun stuff before I realised where I was. Damn you all to hell.

I mean, great pick ups to everyone.

My Sigma focus has slowed massively this year mainly down to needing bits that don't come up so often.

First up the landspeeder soap dish, absolute minter, thanks to Iain and Neil for getting this too me safely. One of my fave sigma items.

And secondly the R2 string dispenser, haven't seen one come up in two years been collecting then simon chances upon two so huge thanks to him for hooking me up its stunning, strange but also been two on eBay recently.
