AFA CARDBACK DISPLAY PROGRESS

Hi all,

Here are updated pics of my project now with both halfs added. Name plates etc will be added in a few days

Completed project....enjoy.

If anyone wants to buy one just message me, I can do any card back design.

I'm not a fan of the way graded loose figures look but each to there own.

The display on the other hand looks great. A really nice piece of work there.

The only issue I have is, that thing is ****ing huge!!!!

That's my concern as well it's a brilliant bit of work and would love one. Only trouble is I would have to get rid of the sofa to fit it in my house. :lol: Not sure the Mrs would go for it. :?

As said though it looks brill.

That is pretty cool -- museum quality.

I really get the feeling that as many of us have quite nice complete collections now, we are finally spending time and effort on giving them the display pedestal they deserve!

Just about fitted it in my room!

AFA display looks amazing Why would you put it in a room surrounded by junk... :lol:

All Star Wars is good, think you need a bigger house though!

You could build me some stairs to my loft if you want. :lol:

Looks a great display, very professional looking, and wow what a display room! you won't find much love for modern here but those of us who collect both have our own section of the board if you fancied sharing your modern pics

Doesn't matter how you feel about the clear plastic case it's the vintage goodness inside that counts. :wink:

Plenty of snobs in the world, just depends how you view the world.

Very impressive, but as others have said its bloody massive!
Don't personally collect anything graded or anything modern, but can't dispute the passion to put that lot together; so respect is due.

Definitely, but I think snobby in a good way. I think this mentality does a lot towards protecting our hobby from a lot of damage.

Just seen this on eBay, good luck with the sale. Are you going to make them to order?

Yea, made to order. Could do any card back variant. I am hoping anyone willing to spend £10 k or so on a complete set might spend a bit. On a really nice display stand.
