One of my `team` came to me with a lily ledy set of 7 dolls
this guy was offering me the tusken doll last week for 1500,
I`m kicking myself for not snapping it up as recommended by members..
but last night he told me he had the complete set and didnt sell as he saw 2 of the 7 listed and wanted to see what they did.
last night a luke and r2d2 version sold for big bucks, and he has asked me to help him sell his whole set of 7. he had a valuation from a company called toy-planet in the US (3500) for the lot but felt it was a bit low..

any ideas as a group what would be a value for them.
Have attached a couple of pics..
Thanks in advance
Robert.

Never seen a set like this in one go and in such great shape, I'm thinking the estimate is way off if this went to auction but have no idea to value sorry.

Thanks for posting the picture though, really nice to see :D

I think that's how i'd go... at a well-publicised auction these could really fly with a bidding war between a few big hitters. Are these the actual photographs of the pieces? If so, they're really nicely taken pics and show the items up really beautifully - but if the seller can present his items this well then I'm not sure what he needs you for!! :D

I agree totally, but he doesn`t speak English and they would sell much better overseas..

No , its the guy who was originally offering me the tusken.....i went to see them tonight, he said he recently picked them up, but wouldnt say how much... ///they look really good, he had so much good stuff...takara cards, the four takara vinyl figures on cards and others.....hes still thinking whether to have me list them on ebay or send to the states to an auction house.. Would have been nice to send to vectis, damn those import duties...!

Oh ok. It's just I have seen these exact photos before:

https://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auction/item/itemInfoJa.html?index=383464

A Japanese website, looks to be a toy dealer called mandarake.

English for those of us who aren't japanese:

https://translate.googleusercontent...383464&usg=ALkJrhg-EUUZfZTn6ne1ijDGtddCXczdmg

Recently sold for £6200 if the website is correct.

I'm sorry but I don't believe your story. Why would a toy dealer be asking you to sell this collection. The reason the photos look professional is because they are.

i looked at the site, they just had a big auction, the photos are the same, thats where he bought them from then, but i dont understand the last part...hes not a toy dealer , hes bought the items and now its obvious he wants to sell them..They will command a better price overseas and I have been asked to help him as he doesnt speak english.. Looking at other stuff they sold , 1k for a 21 back boba, very nice...

This collection sold 5th June 21:32. Assuming Tokyo time that would be 9 hours ahead so 12:30 pm uk. Your original post was 2:26am the next day. So in the 14 hours after the online auction ended the guy brought the collection and engaged you or your 'team' to try and value them and sell them, even after paying £6200 for them.

Bearing in mind of the 14 hours this happened in, 11 of those could realistically be called "the middle of the night" in Japan. 3 hours to do all this?

What I'm saying is you have pinched the photos off the net and are still full of ****.

Oh yeah, and when you posted the post about the Tusken you got offered, 28th may, the exact same Tusken was being auctioned by mandarake (auction started 20th may). You can tell by the damage on the picture you cropped and turned and the one on the auction. So you were being offered a piece that was part of a live auction?

Don't know why but you seem to lie all the time.
