This may be useless information, but I know hard facts about where certain variations originated are hard to come by, so thought I'd post this up. I just checked my only 5 remaining childhood figures, and noticed all 5 are no COO variants, including the pop-up R2. I am a bit younger than some collectors so all my childhood toys would have been bought in the UK in the mid to late 80s, almost certainly on trilogo cards.

Nice figures edd from your childhood :D

R2-D2 pop-up is only made with a no coo

If you are sure they are all from tri-logo then you should share the coo with us :D

Is the pop-up r2 any of this in my guide ?

I'm really getting the urge to try and pick up COO variants having ended up with some by chance getting beaters for the boy, and slightly more on topic the Palitoy 65 Rebel Commando I picked up was a no COO which would have been around at a similar time to the Trilogos - must check the others

It may be my aging eyes....but are there three dots on the base of that R2? By the way great coo info Lars, thanks.

Just my thought, to me it also looks like 3 dots

Glad you could use the info and you are welcome to add or write in the guide if you have any questions or info about pop-up r2-d2
