Great pick ups everyone. Bossk, Hammerhead, graded Speeder Bike & ewok, Rebel Com.

Heres a couple of pieces from the BIG PICK that slot into my collecting holes. First is a box of Dixie cups that has slave leia on them, to add to the handful of vintage slave leia things.



This is something that kicked off my latest collecting thing, which is ESB oddball items. It was so beautiful.. shame its never been opened, would love to see how it looks.



And finally for now, clarkspieandchips gave me this for the xmas tree at FFrom. Cool.

Cheeky little upgrade from my AFA Y75. A clear bubble 80. The lightly yellowed bubble on mine has always bugged me, and the few others that have popped up on eBay all had yellow bubbles. A couple were really bad. When this came up for auction it started at a pretty high starting price, which didn't get any bids. I managed to contact him after to do a deal. Just got it today and inspected it. The card is totally flawless apart from a very minor vein on the rear that's barely visible, yet it has an 80 grade, so I guessed it must have been graded recently due to what seems like overly harsh card grades by the AFA over the last year. Checked serial number, yep, graded November 17th 2015.

A scruffy yak, thanks to the member on here that sold it to me. Anyone got any idea of the specific paint/colour I'd need to touch him up? ..... After a good clean.

Why would you want to paint him? Best to leave 'as is' and original

I saw this advertised locally the other day and just drove over this afternoon to collect it....not quite on the level of "Bespinlover's" vinyl cape jawa! But it definitely goes to show that there are still vintage Star Wars bargains to be had despite all the recent hype and price jumps...Palitoy 65 back Klaatu MOC, Unpunched, really clear bubble....£20...
It would cost me that normally for a mint, loose figure with a loose cardback shipped from abroad! The missus won't be to happy. Had reached my budget this month but will have to convince her it was a Bargain :lol:

That's why I love this forum. One minute its a 20 quid Klaatu, the next a Palitoy logo ESB Han Hoth! It just shows the spectrum of collecting that can be enjoyed. Two buyers, both very happy with varying levels of MOC...

Great 30 back Han and has anyone else noticed how the A backs have this style of footer but the B backs have the V shaped ones? I think it's the same for the 30 back Hoth Stormtrooper.
