That's a reasonable price is you like graded. An ungraded one in similar condition sold at Vectis a month ago for £850. Add fees and you're up to just over £1,060. This figure was graded in August 2015, so it's not this one.
One sold in August at Vectis for £950 (£1,187 including fees). But it's not this one.
It is, however, the one that sold in June at Vectis for a whopping £1,100 (£1,375 with fees). Add on grading and, if for sale online, selling fees and someone, somewhere along the line has taken a bath on this.
I do hope it was a speculator. That would be great. Hope it wasn't a collector who overstretched themselves, though.
Regardless, this is a good buy at that price. If it was still ungraded I'd be very tempted myself.
