Awesome pick ups everyone, I haven't been checking this thread for a while as I've not been collecting so seeing all these goodies on a daily basis can be tough  .

Got a bit of the bug back after TFA so decided to try an put together a Cheapo 12 inch set just focusing on ANH characters not too worried about condition so long as they are complete, went looking on Ebay and spotted a C3P0 with a smaller Chewie. At first glance I thought it was a modern version but once I clicked on the listing I realised it was a Vintage Takara Vinyl 7inch fig. Bonus! All those years of reading about foreign lines paid off :D

Will probably trade him towards the 12inch set but still cool to have one in hand.

Lots of people say that - not always sure in a good way though

I have had a great year vintage wise - lots of cool things added and most of them quite lucky - the Dewey C3PO and the PBP Rebel Commander spring to mind. I am also grateful to the likes of Andy Clarke, Rich_H and Edd for getting/selling me some great items - there is going to be a cool competition to celebrate those in the New Year.

I hate letting cool things go and still regret selling my Palitoy DSC (damn shame we didn't win the packing box) but sometimes needs must - especially as I have been trying to build up a business over here. So when I got a really good offer in for my Portuguese stickered IG-88 then I had to let it go - however the other day I spotted this little beauty - ironically down the road from me in Florida and he arrived yesterday - really cool variant and there is a good write up here about them on Joe's site -

Haven't posted on here for a while, always forget to photograph my stuff and put it up but will endeavour to make more of an effort in 2016.

Most of these purchases were from the recent Farthest From

First up a Greedo revenge proof card for my Greedo focus, thanks to Marc Walsh for letting me split the payment over two months for this, delighted to have it in my collection.

Very fortunate with Secret Santa again this year and got these six sealed ROTJ toothbrushes, love them so much

I love doing the podcast and was humbled to receive two gifts for doing it, Scruffy Nerf Herder bought us all a lego keyring, I got a Chewbacca one as Simon feels i'm strong and masculine like the wookiee, and Clarkspieandchips (Scott) made some beautiful Christmas decorations, I got Rudolph the red nosed Klaatu, this was my wifes favourite thing I brought back from FF with me.

We also have a little tradition is our family with an extra present on boxing day, my wife had gotten me a Trilogo ReeYees

Minty Tri Imp Com there Iain. He seems to get a lot of love, even though it's a minor character. My Palitoy one was my cheapest Palitoy, but I was probably a little more excited to get him than more expensive ones. Maybe also because it was also a little gamble.

Well I've not posted much on here recently but a big thank you to several forum member's and a personal friend.
Jez Allinson and James Woolley both alerted me to a sale on separate Facebook group's for this little Beastie. The timing couldn't have been better as I had a friend in New York over the holiday period so to avoid paying huge customs fee's or running the gauntlet as Mr Mewes refered to it with a low value signed for (just had an item go missing this way) I had it delivered to his hotel on Xmas eve.
I hadn't crossed paths with the seller before so a quick vouch by Ross and Frank and some added reassurance by Jez and the deal was done. My friend flew back today so just collected him.
No LFL markings on the leg and the alternative staff.

Once again a magnificent display by all!

I'd never even heard of those Japanese vinyl figures. I take it there are more than just Chewie in that range? Will have to trawl the archive.

Stu, that is the most diverse range of stuff seen in a single post. Ever. Love that toy toter. Minty Han Carb (if I hadn't just received my Vectis one I'd have had that one of Nick in a second. Just gorgeous) and absolutely bloody lovely ESB Vader. As for the keychain. Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Actually, it's the nearest thing I could find to an Ewok :D And those toothbrushes are about as minty fresh as the toothpaste they've never seen! Great Greedo proof and 2-pack, as well. Ace Klaatu! I think Scott has come up with the best idea for beater figures since Dave flocked an Ackbar!

Laurence, is that a first shot Amanaman, then? I think I saw it advertised as such. Lovely, lovely piece to have and cherish. That is a cool choice for a focus.

Love that Imp Commander, Iain. I'm pleased with the one I inherited off you. Completely underrated figure, I reckon and to see those Portuguese import stickers is cool, especially having read some of the history behind them. Another great Trilogo find a long, long way from home.

Lawrence, is that the first shot that was up for sale on Facebook? It's a bit more than no lfl on the leg if it is! A great pick up and the crown jewel of a focus if it is, as well as having a non production weapon.

Latest figure in for the little ones collection. Not really a beater in fairness. Little bargain at £2.50
