Well looks like someone got quite excited when they saw it

The colour and length looks good as do the armholes from what I can see of that (one is ripped). You do need a few more pics of it though to double check those armholes and if it has the crosshatch texture to one side, also can it be cleaned or is it melted?

Very excited you saw all my posts!

I'll try and get them scaled down on here.

Apparently it's gunk, should come off. Picked it up it a bag of budget beaters and weapons for £45 could turn out to be my best find ever. I'll find out when it turns up!

If it is the real deal I'll have to give the person I bought this off some more ££ as a person with a morals I'd feel bad!

Looks good to me. Have you done the zip test with your fingernail? One side should make a zip noise, whilst the other should quiet. f you look very closely one side will have an incredibly fine cross-hatch which makes the zip noise.

If it's legit, that's one helluva find! 8)

Be VERY careful when you clean it- that tear could easily spread...

I'm kind of in disbelief myself, I've picked up a boxed death star I was buzzing but I payed good ish money for it....this Jawa if the real deal I don't think I'll ever get another find like that.

Like I said he's getting sent to me maybe tommorow or Thursday...as soon as he turns up I will post on here again!

The figure itself is correct (big eyes), and the cape looks skanky enough to be genuine! Drop the figure in a bowl of slightly soapy boiling water. Let it sit and soften for 5 mins then carefully take the cape off and then use a toothbrush to clean the figure and the cape separately before redressing the Jawa.

Can you take a closer picture of the cape, forget about getting the figure in the inage and leave the flash on your camera. This should capture the cross hatching better.

Thanks for this very helpful advice.

You might want to go easy on the boiling water, the previous, previous owner if my vcj used boiling water to remove a crease from the Cape and it shrunk.

Hi guys thanks for you help on this this little fella has turned up - I've done the zip noise test, checked texture of cape and fit and it all ticks the box - so I think I can confirm this little Jawa is the real deal. Very happy indeed...
