So I picked up ..

The best condition yak face I've seen ...
And the worst condition yak face I've seen

I bought the best one for £200, with romba, Luke farmboy grey haired kenoni and a yoda. Not bad deal. I'd say a small saving....

The worst yak was £50 - but I took pity on him as he was so battered.

After Vectis, FF and a few other purchases I've got a few pieces to put up here, but for now this is my most exciting find. Thanks to Joe for guidance on a fair price for it :)

I'm no cardback collector and if you'd told me 12 months ago I'd splash out on a simple card back I'd have laughed my socks off, but since going all Palitoy/Trilogo I've realised sometimes you just have to be happy with a placeholder such as a reseal or even a cardback. I'm not up for paying thousands for the real deal yet, so this will do for now. The figure is the correct one (no/removed COO) for the cardback (unlike the reseal in the recent Nigo sale!). I love the fact it has price stickers, the fact they've been thoughtfully placed on the back in the barcode box and most of all the fact they had to reduce a Trilogo Jawa to 69p to get the bugger sold. Even on my pocket money I could have earned a year's salary after a couple of months saving to buy a dozen on these blighters at that price.....

Some awesome stuff over the last week or so;
Page 1813:
Dr Ball MD, nice Polish Bootleg addition dude and sweet Proof card.
Currymonster6290: Mate, i've never seen that huge Yogurt poster before, crazy.
Bespinlover1978: Great deal on that Palitoy Death Star, hopefully you can complete it.
Twistedmetal: Nice 3PO Scott, it looks great.
Cocobean: Nice Ewok Battle Wagon, what's it like?
Page 1814:
MarkG, two very nice MOCs. Go Logray focus! The PD looks very mint.
Clarkspie&chips: You had a good day! Sweet MOCs, love the GG, nice loosies, cool shipping container, well done on the charity and huge congrats on the VCJ!
JimboUK1979: Your LFB focus looks bloody awesome. Well done.
Page 1815:
Andygo: Wow, stunning collection of MOCs, very nice.
RobPMarsh: Love the Microcollection.
Richard: Great FF R5 haul mate, you're on fire!
Grant: So cool to have that C&C jacket, very envious. The MOCs are great, the Luke Stormtrooper is easily my favourite.
Page1816:
Robstyley: Great to see you at FF, very nice haul. LXW, PD, DSD & PD, a great line up!
Ben: Mate, your collection looks stunning. You have an eye for pure class.
Phreatobite: lovely loose figures, they look great.
RobPMarsh: Congrats on the Bootleg, booteful.
Grant: Thats a great find, sweet cinema ticket.
Page 1817:
JimboUK1979: Cool LFB CB
Bespinlover1978: Great score of loosies, the Yaks are cool.
ScruffylookingNH: Sweet Tri Jawa and CB mate, thats the closest most of us will get to the real deal.
SparkyP: Great challenge going for the first 20, those ones look stunning. The PD on a SW card looks so cool.

After a really dry few months i've gone crazy!!
My MOC collection lept by over 10% at FF.

My first piece of Vintage was given to me courtesy of Mr Marc Walsh. Thank you sir, extremely generous.

AT At Commander, Teebo, PD and Rebel Commander all from Chris Mann
Beat up TFP from ScottyBoy (David)

The Teebo has an interesting stamp on the back

But by far my most favourite piece so far is the Palitoy 45B which i got from Scottyboy. Here he is alongside a resealed German LXW that i thought was a really good deal for the price i paid.

I collected my LXW Soap from the Big Pick

But then this beauty arrives, LXW small prototype coin, direct from an ex Kenner employee (Director of Market Research 1982-1992).
I'm delighted with it and it came with a wonderful COA from him on a beautiful watermarked certificate. Thanks Iain for handling the trans atlantic transaction.

Hi
I've never posted on latest acquisitions before but over the last month or so I've been putting a bit of an ESB moc run together. With thanks to a couple of folks on here - Ross Barr Dan Whitely and Simon (SLNH)

Also got a Leia bespin en route :D

Cheers Rich

Jez, you had one good FF! Great acquisitions galore. Loving the Pali 45b LXW but that's closely followed by that very cool soap! Not sure how you're new flying kit will go down with your crew, though :D

Rich, that right there is pure ESB porn. Beautiful run of MOCs, thanks for sharing.

I never noticed the date on the Teebo before we saw it at FF Jez. Funnily enough that's the day after my birthday!!!

Could it have been the shop selling it that put it on there?? As in that's the day they put it up for sale as a way of monitoring how quick stock was selling.

Only reason I say that is an 'Open All Hours' style shop I delivery to does that.

Interesting to see the date on that card. My 77 back Power Droid has the date March 3rd 1984 written in pencil on the back. I wonder how many forum members has MOC's with dates printed/written on them? My PD certainly wasn't originally for sale in an "open all hours" type shop, it has a walmart price sticker on the front.
