Whilst researching today I came across these snippets regarding the downfall of Palitoy.
It was somber researching today as in 1985 there appeared to be a lot of similarities to times not long past, industries collapsing, long lasting family businesses closing, tales of high street shops being boarded up.
There was some items of interest though, Big Daddy was in town, Kung Fu (not heard it called that for a few years) classes were advertised, win tickets to see a young Chubby Brown and 4 Microwaves were stolen from a local school :x at an estimated cost of £1000
. There was also an article with the Green Cross Code guy, whoever that was.
