Thanks for responding guys!
Whilst I completely agree with the fact that it is wrong, and damaging to the hobby to needlessly destroy a perfectly good carded figure for U grading, I dont have a problem with sending cut/badly damaged cards for a U grade.
I do think however that the people who are prepared to have MOC's ripped open are entitled to do so! After all, its their item, they own it, therefore they can do as they wish with it!
I love my vintage collection, I would never dream of telling someone what they like to collect is wrong, or right for that matter.
At the end of the day, these are little plastic figures, surely not important enough to warrant some of the insults and sometimes even threats that get handed out if someone thinks they have the right to dictate what you should or should not spend your hard earned money on?

Even monkeys aren't gullible to the ridiculousness of 'uncirculated'. Just ask them.

Mr Monkey. What do you think of ugrading and the justifications behind it?

Hmmm - not sure that this thread is going to end well

To the OP - Ugrading is pretty much a no-go area on this forum and you will struggle to find anyone that agrees with your point of view - obviously the whole 'my figures I can do what I want' thing is very true but you won't get a lot of love on here with that attitude

Have a read of this and hopefully you will see why you got these responses - http://powerofthetoys.com/afa/

Oh dear. Methinks this isn't going to bode well.

U grading is not liked here. Irregardless of your (selfish) opinion you will not alter the popular stance.

The dead bears are likening u graders to ivory poachers and people who hunt animals that are close to extinction for skins etc. The analogy being there is a limited number of moc's (the bears/rhinos/elephant tusks) that the masses believe should be preserved and not made extinct. These are hunted and killed (destroyed in the case of moc's) by a selfish few who care only for their own wishes as opposed to the general feeling of the community, not to mention they are happy to wipe out a finite resource for no reason.

If you believe a u graded figure, say u90 is any different from a standard 90 graded figure then you are an imbecile.

As I stated in my original post, the only stuff ive ever had Ugraded has come from either cut, or badly damaged card.
The figures I originally posted about arent even mine, I asked for opinions of what they are worth.Ive re checked my post just to be sure I didnt imply they are mine, or for sale, and I didnt, so the hate mob jumped in far too quickly!
Im not looking for anyones love, or hatred, just the opinions of some'experts'. I read all the time that AFA are the bad guys, but when all the 'good' guys do is shoot first, then who exactly could I ask for some advice?
