Ok, ok so I paid a pretty penny to upgrade....so much so it warranted a thread in the eBay section :lol: :lol:
Anyway, delighted to have added this to my growing Luke Farmboy cardback collection
Palitoy 12 Back.

Pride of place in my little Foreign 12 Back cardback run. Palitoy, Clipper, US Kenner and Canadian GDE.

Those Luke FB foreign cardbacks look great together Jeff.

I've never seen a Harbert for sale, but seen 2 square backed Meccano Luke FB's cardbacks only in the last year so that one is at least obtainable :wink:

Cheers man, I've never seen either of those cards :( would love the square back Mecanno card. Well either really :lol: .

Are they huge money do you know off hand....? Genuinely, I'm limited to the range of £150, tops, for a card. Will never be able to fund £300-£400+ cards, oh well, I'm happy with what I'm putting together :D

One went for £49.00 but it had a 2cm triangle shape cut out of the top left, apart from that a really nice example - was a bargain really. Another went for £120 I think bit rough round the edges though with tears where the blister had been.

The place to look for any Meccano's is ebay France that is where the £49.00 one was listed. French sellers often only sell within Europe or don't offer Paypal, they prefer Bank Transfer, therefore these auctions never appear on ebay uk even if you do a worldwide search.

An Example;
There is currently a very,very rare ESB Square Carded Meccano on ebay France now and because the seller doesn't offer Paypal you won't find it on Ebay UK or ebay USA.

Love those two trilogos - two which I don't have!

First purchase in ages, the guy had quite a few of these but this is the only one I managed to snag (gutted), managed to reseal it the best I could and it doesn't look too bad for me:

Also got this from the same seller as I don't have a Palitoy Han Solo card back, so this Jedi one will have to do, the name plate has been cut out so I've inexpertly repaired by me. The figure will be flipped on eGay. (Thanks also to Martin who gave me the ability to do the fix!)

Great Palitoy card Jeff, those foreigh cards look very nice together 8) . I still can't believe that there are cards that sell for £300-400 though, mind-boggling :shock:

The cards are a bit shorter Lars, and for Jawas has quite a deep bubble (bit like the Jawas on the Kenner 12bk with R2D2 bubble - but these NZ ones didn't have card/plastic packing behind them like the US Kenner 12bks)
