I haven't gotten a chance to check out Banksy's work yet but I'm definitely trying this weekend and he had someone selling real Banksy art in Central Park last week, people thought they were fakes but he let it be known it was him and the were in fact real pieces signed by him for only $60 bucks  can't believe I missed out on that.
Check out this link! (Hopefully I don't get banned for being off topic :? )

My niece is back residing in NYC at the moment, as soon as I heard about this, I messaged her to see if she had happened to be strolling through Central Park last Sunday and made a playful purchase... no such luck, unfortunately.
Banksy originals at a 10,000% discount. Apparently, only seven of the canvasses were sold last Sunday. Sheesh!
As is often mentioned: this thread moves way too fast. Blink and you miss it, so please accept my humble apologies if I've missed anybody out...
Firstly, Rob: very pleased to see the Palitoy cardbacks got to the other side of the globe safe and sound.
Conrad: Welcome to the forum, fellow Yorkshireman; and congratulations on your fine Walrus Man haul. There's something about that cardback, with the limited masking and airbrushing techniques applied back in the day, that make it truly beguiling. You should have a chat with Junior Chubb.
Deborah: Get those purchases hidden quick, and an appropriate alibi sorted in case you face 'questioning' at a later date.
Spooked: I've been thinking about making a similar purchase of late- great to see a real piece of marketing history. Love it.
