Djbighairs showcase- New pics added on page 2 23/1/13

So Colin and I are collectors and over the last few months we have been showing each other our collections. His room and set up is ace. I only have a corridor but here it is. My collection.

Info first

All original cards except Leia bespin. 3 of original 12 backs are reseals but all are 12 backs. Only need ig88 on an empire card and boba on a Star Wars card so that all are on film release card.

Every carded figure has its matching Baggie in the star case, the loose collection is in a cabinet.

Japan card figure is a ree yees, logray is a signed proof card. All other baggies on show are Baggie variants to ones in star cases.

Green box are coo variants to those in display cabinet. The display cabinet has three signed mocs. Plus a graded pin head Han Baggie.

Double packs and start to gam guard focus in the thin strip.

Droid factory and jabbas palace are mint unopened as are some of the mini rigs and speeder bike.

Appologies for poor picture quality, need to fix the light in the corridor...

Great stuff mate and some great pieces in there too many to mention, last thing you need is a collecting rivalry though, it could bankrupt you...

I was considering going up against Mumbo after his sprint start, then decided it was pointless. Then again remember the tortoise and the hare. :wink:

No way do you post a rivalry thread on the night I'm working and have to reply using my mobile – especially when you flagrantly post huge pictures to make your collection look even better! Don't believe a word this man says I happen to know he only has a handful of beaters and a packet of Star Wars bendems the rest is photoshop

Mate I've seen many pictures of your collection over the last couple of months but I'm still sitting here scrolling through with my mouth open – absolutely superb pal. Can honestly say out of all the showcases and lime lighting I have looked at your's is by far my favourite – the MOC with baggie in a star case is just the best and a fantastic way to display vintage figures.

So many individual items that would by the highlight of anyone's collection - pin head Han baggie, mib playsets and vehicles but for me it's the complete set of MOC figures on their film release cards – that's pure childhood nostalgia and I would honestly struggle to get anything done if I had the option to look at them all day!

Seeing as this is titled as rivalry I would like to draw everyone's attention to the Gok Wan and Trinny + Susannah books that make up part of his collection, you can see them in one of the pictures– that's just not right!

No rivalry, just friendly encouragement to enjoy our collecting and spend beyond our means :lol:

Colin, her indoors is allowed one shelf for books and you would notice it... Anyway trinny and Suzzana sorted me out well, nice pair of colots and flouncy shirt!!!

Still more pics to add. Tri logo collection MOCs and card back varients too... May get round to this soon. Will maybe put a pick of a few modern bits... only have a few.

In the looses collection there are the varients muddled in Tan arm Klaatu, luke blue green saber, Ben white and grey hair, ugnaught cape varients etc...

That's a really nice display you've got. The baggies with the mocs is a great idea. Some really nice pieces in there. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

My fiscally responsible tri logo collection all under £20 with postage.. Except at at commander from dublinjeff.

Next my box of loose still to sort for coo variants.

Then the. Original 12 back on different cards to my main display. A couple of these will be sold at some point.

The empire run on different card backs to the display, a few of these are a bit of a mess.

Jedi on various card backs, eg Canadian wicket, leddy snub nose made in Mexico biker scout etc...
