My nephews now play with my brother's AT-AT from the 80s, but the box it came is no longer of any use to us. It's battered, got tape stuck to it....and I was just about to fling it into the recycling when I thought best check to see if anyone would want it. Maybe there's someone out there with an AT-AT but no box???

I'd appreciate knowing if a knackered cardboard AT-AT box is any good to anyone at all, or if I'm just a terrible hoarder who is rubbish at getting rid of things, especially when they are over 20 years old... :)

Unless it's completely wrecked I'm sure it would be of use to someone wanting a box for their pet AT-AT, maybe an idea to post a picture so we can see the condition.

Even battered it's worth something. I got given one I just paid for postage. It made me day/week, I'm sure you could help someone out & make some beer money.

Wow - glad I asked!

I'll do my best to get a representative pic and post it on here then.

Thanks everyone :)

It's really battered and bent and got a fair bit of tape on it, but thought I'd give this a go. (Whilst I would quite happily give it away for free and only ask the 'buyer' to pay for postage, if there are willing buyers out there I'd love to see my brother's face when I buy him a pint and tell him where some of the money came from :D )

Advice welcome please. Certainly won't be offended if 'postage only' is the only option

Hey mate,

If you would be willing to find out how much it would cost to post to Australia ( + the cost of a pint ) :D I''d be happy to take it off your hands. If not I'm sure one of the UK based members would like it.

Cheers Ryan

It doesn't weigh much (591g) but due to size when it's folded flat (without bending it except the flaps at each end) it's quite expensive for overseas:

UK (Standard Parcels/approx. 3 working days) - £3.41
Australia (Global Value/approx. 6 working days) - £38.00
US (Global Value/approx. 5 working days) -£28.30
Europe (Parcel Force/approx. 4 working days) - £19.00

Oh, and a pint is about £4 :D

Not sure how you usually do this, but please PM me if you're still interested, then I'll stick names in a hat [I guess] :?:

Glad it'll be going to a good home rather than the Great Recycling Bin in The Sky.
